Welcome to the Africa Bangladesh Business Forum (ABBF). These Membership Terms & Conditions govern your membership and use of ABBF’s services. By registering as a member or using any ABBF membership services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. About ABBF

Africa Bangladesh Business Forum (ABBF) is an international business platform dedicated to strengthening trade, investment, business partnerships, and economic cooperation between Africa and Bangladesh.

2. Membership Eligibility

Membership is open to:

  • Individuals

  • Companies

  • Business associations

  • Government agencies

  • Chambers of commerce

  • Investors

  • Exporters

  • Importers

  • Service providers

  • Academic and research institutions

  • Other organizations with an interest in Africa-Bangladesh trade and investment

ABBF reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or terminate any membership application at its sole discretion.

3. Membership Categories

ABBF currently offers the following membership categories:

  • Individual Membership

  • Company Membership

Additional membership categories, premium plans, and specialized programs may be introduced in the future.

4. Membership Fees

At present, standard ABBF membership is provided free of charge.

However, ABBF reserves the right to introduce paid memberships, premium plans, subscriptions, certification programs, business services, event fees, or other paid offerings at any time. Any applicable fees will be published on the ABBF website before they become effective.

Existing members may continue under the terms applicable to their membership unless otherwise notified.

5. Membership Benefits

Membership benefits may include, but are not limited to:

  • Business networking opportunities

  • B2B matchmaking

  • Trade and investment information

  • Market entry support

  • Business promotion opportunities

  • Participation in webinars, conferences, trade missions, and exhibitions

  • Access to member resources

  • Investment facilitation

  • Business verification services

  • Trade inquiries

  • Member directory listing

  • Newsletters and market updates

  • Other services published on the ABBF website

Certain services may only be available to premium members or may require separate payment.

6. Member Responsibilities

Members agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.

  • Keep their account information up to date.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials.

  • Use ABBF services responsibly and professionally.

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Respect other members and conduct business ethically.

Members must not:

  • Provide false or misleading information.

  • Use ABBF for fraudulent, illegal, misleading, or unethical activities.

  • Misrepresent their business or organization.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to ABBF systems.

  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website or services.

7. Business Relationships

ABBF facilitates introductions, networking, and business connections between members.

ABBF does not guarantee:

  • successful business transactions;

  • the quality, legality, financial condition, or reliability of any member;

  • payment, delivery, or performance by any party.

Members are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any commercial relationship.

8. Events and Business Activities

Participation in ABBF events, exhibitions, trade missions, webinars, business summits, networking sessions, and other activities may be subject to separate registration terms, participation requirements, cancellation policies, and fees.

9. Payments and Paid Services

Where applicable:

  • Payments must be made using the payment methods approved by ABBF.

  • Fees are subject to the applicable Refund Policy.

  • Failure to make required payments may result in suspension or cancellation of services.

10. Intellectual Property

All content published by ABBF, including logos, trademarks, graphics, documents, publications, website content, videos, and other materials, remains the intellectual property of ABBF unless otherwise stated.

Members may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use ABBF materials without prior written permission.

11. Privacy and Confidentiality

ABBF handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any proprietary, confidential, or non-public information obtained through ABBF activities and shall not disclose such information without proper authorization.

12. Suspension and Termination

ABBF reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership without prior notice where a member:

  • violates these Terms & Conditions;

  • provides false information;

  • engages in fraudulent or unethical conduct;

  • damages the reputation or interests of ABBF;

  • misuses ABBF services.

Members may cancel their membership at any time by deactivating their account through the ABBF website or by contacting ABBF.

Termination does not affect any obligations or liabilities incurred before termination.

13. Limitation of Liability

ABBF makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate information and reliable services but does not guarantee that its services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ABBF shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from:

  • use of the website;

  • participation in ABBF programs;

  • reliance on information provided by ABBF;

  • business dealings between members;

  • interruption or unavailability of services.

14. Indemnification

Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless ABBF, its directors, officers, employees, partners, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses arising from their use of ABBF services or violation of these Terms & Conditions.

15. Changes to Membership Terms

ABBF may revise these Membership Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Updated versions will be published on the ABBF website and become effective upon publication unless otherwise stated. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which ABBF is legally established and operates.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the competent courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable law.
